Eureka occasionally has funny ads for fake products during the show, but this is a picture of my TV from an actual ad, for an allergy medicine called Veramyst. The caption, if you can't read it, says "The way VERAMYST works is not entirely understood."

Uh, yeah, that's reassuring.

Someone just told me to google the combination of words "Verymyst" and "Understood" for this ad (they saw it tonight), thanks for the quick post! What i don't understand is how this gets Veramyst off the hook somehow - it must, or else they wouldn't put it in there.

Good one, Dawn!

I'm also betting you're one of the romping through the highlands fans of the Jamie/Claire books?

Every time I click over here, I keep laughing at this posth, but it was hard to say why, exactly. But now I'm thinking it's because I keep picturing all those chemists in white lab coats toking up before mixing their beakers together.

Can I pretty please borrow this picture and put it on my blog. I just saw this commercial and have to post about it. I'll give you full credit and a link.
