Things to do and see in DC?

Christie and I are headed to DC for a few days in June, and I'm wondering what there is to see and do there. More accurately, there's so much to see and do that we're wondering where to focus our efforts. We'll likely have the kidlet with us, so we're also looking for kid-friendly restaurants in the Dupont Circle area. Any recommendations?

All you need to know about Dupont Circle is that it's totally infested with super mutants. I suggest either the Chinese Assault Rifle or the Combat Shotgun, assuming you don't have a Plasma Rifle yet. And the Ranger Combat Armor is definitely worthwhile, if you don't have any power armor yet.

Fallout 3 has made me see DC in an entirely new way.

When the boys and I did DC a couple of years ago, we got a big kick out of the Air & Space Museum Udvar-Hazy annex, which is out near Dulles. It's a huge warehouse-style building with a bunch of aircraft and a space shuttle and an SR-71. The Natural History museum on the mall and the International Spy Museum were also awesome.

The zoo in DC is also great, and may be something Sophie likes...
